BOOK 2

In book 2 of the series, the author picks up where book one left off and continues with what took place in the fall of 2015 and the beginnings of yet another investigation. It describes in detail the strange events that occurred during that 2015 season, and reviews yet another awful, inaccurate and mean-spirited newspaper article from the Seattle Times the night before the seniors’ final game for the state championship. The author then meticulously goes through the first 55 pages of the 68-page investigation report prepared by two former federal prosecutors and provides critique and background and inside knowledge and documents that disprove so much of what was written in that ridiculous and damaging 68-page investigative report.

The author provides documentary proof and evidence showing the Seattle Times “Wooing” article of December 2015 and the WIAA 68-page report for what they were. Writings that utilized a poor factual base and ignored evidence in support of BHS football. Writings that made incorrect assumptions, and then built their stories on top of those inaccurate assumptions.

Book 2 of the series dismantles the false list of “42 transfers to Bellevue High School from 2008 to 2015” and exposes that the lead prosecutor had an undisclosed material conflict of interest from his days as a federal prosecutor with the convicted felon who the prosecutor had indicted. This felon was their key witness during the investigation as well as a parent at the high school in question.

Book 2 culminates with a searing retort of the inaccurate and at times simply false information presented in the report and shows in detail how the WIAA 68-page report was literally built on a foundation of sand and was particularly focused on black families who resided in Bellevue.
